  1. For waiting I say, me and my family went out to explore in port charmers, while fishing. It was great and fun spending time with my family, and I hope we do it again in the near future.

  2. *for Waitangi Day ^

We have a Waitangi Day because that was the day when the Maoris agreed to sign the treaty for the English to have some land and live in the beautiful country of aotearoa.

  3. To this day, the maori's still battle for their land that the English mostly took, and claimed it as theirs, while people where already living there, back in the 18's. There are still discussions about the treaty, and also issues around this particular treaty.

    1. Have you ever been out to Aramoana? It's a great small "village" out there, and has a beautiful beach. We also pick cockle shells there. We also had a bqq there last year, as a family with relatives.

  5. They have nice treats at the local dairy (Of course!) but in my opinion, they have the best chips. I also saw my friend and his dad, the principal of my previous school walking around in Port Chalmers.

    1. Well, apart that George St Dairy has great taste in chips. Also, Rob Roy's dairy is a great place to have an ice-cream if Waitangi Day is a hot day, depending on the Dunedin weather. They sell HUGE, and I mean ENORMOUS ice-creams! It's a very good place I recommend for them ice-cream lovers. [including Me!]

  9. This is very funny. Mrs C and Mrs dG, Whenever I post a comment, and when it gets sent to your email to see if its not rude or anything and you see if its OK to post on and all of that, when It comes on, It says my comment was posted at "February 20, 2013 at 10:28 PM" and its incorrect. What time clock are we using on our blog, cause I'm just slightly confused.
