Welcome Room 10 Students of 2013

Welcome to Balmacewen and Room 10.
It was really nice meeting all of you last week.
How did you feel the morning before school?
We were nervous about starting the school year, but excited about meeting all our new students.

We would like you to tell us how your first week at Balmac has been and what are you looking forward to?

Remember when you post a comment you need to put your name or else it wont get posted.
Happy Blogging Mrs C and Mrs dG

  1. Balmacewen is a very nice place to be especially being in Rm 10, with kind teachers and people. I have made a lot of friends and bond with everyone. Mrs Cooper and Mrs De Graaf are really nice teachers to learn from.

  2. hello Room 10 and the lovely Mrs Cooper and Mrs De Graaf. I hope you have all settled in well to Balmac. There is a lot of fun in store for you all this term with swimming, camp and all of the other opportunities like sport, hip hop, kapa haka and music. Be sure to have a go and try something new. 2. Balmacewen is a great place to make friends and bond with everybody in your class. You also have the opportunity to sign up for instruments, sports, and a whole lot of other things that I couldn't do, or have the opportunity to do. I am glad that I have chosen Balmacewen as my intermediate school cause I don't have to travel as far and my sister experienced it there last year, and said it was really great. Mrs C and Mrs dG are very nice teachers to learn from, and also encourage you with your work. What I have enjoyed at Balmacewen so far is that I have friends, and can sign up for things I never could have at my previous school. I'm also learning how to play the violin, and I also have signed up for the orchestra and am going to play piano in the orchestra because I JUST started playing violin, but only learning the basics. [How to use a violin] Does anybody recommend any book for me to read? My main goal at the moment is to try and read a different variety of books. Please notify me at school or on the Room 10 blog if you have any books for me to read.
      Thanks,
      -Moli.
P.S, Room 10 is an awesome classroom to be in! :)

  4. It's SOOOO cool at Balmacewen, playing Ballrush, and catching up with my old friends. I've made plenty of friends from other rooms,:13 26 1 and 7 and 5, I think. But it's cool meeting new people though.
