Powhiri

Today we had the school Powhiri. I thought it was great and really enjoyed having it at the Marae. I was impressed at how well most of you coped doing the hongi with our buddy classes.

What did you think? Was it your first powhiri?

IDENTITY

Today's discussion for our topic was all about how the environment of New Zealand shapes our identity as New Zealanders. It effects the things we do such as swimming at the beach, lakes and rivers or tramping in our native bush. It also effects how we behave, like our friendly nature or our adventurous give anything a go attitude.

How do you think it effects you and makes you Kiwi?

Is there anything that is part of your identity that is a result of you living in New Zealand? It could be things that you family likes to do?

Problem No 1

What is the invention that allows you to see through walls?

If your answer is correct you will go in to the draw but only
if you have posted thoughtful comment on another post.
Good luck.
